Rustic Creek Cabin

UPDATE post-Hurricane Helene: The Creek Cabin is gone, washed entirely away down the creek. Its pieces and contents can be seen littering the banks of Wilson Creek down past the Visitor’s Center. The site is now covered in rocks. The original location of the Rustic Creek Cabin is indistinguishable from the surrounding rock-covered area. (Updated 12/9/25)

The Creek Cabin is the cabin closest to the river in the Campground at Wilson Creek Preserve, at Campsite #207. It’s rustic with the bare minimum of creature comforts.

The cabin has a covered and uncovered porch, 2 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and bathroom with shower. The Master bedroom has a Queen bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds. This cabin sleeps 4 people. Linens are provided. The kitchen has a small dorm-sized frig, single hot plate, large electric skillet, microwave, drip coffee maker and a toaster oven. There is hot and cold water as well as a window AC unit. There’s a picnic table and a fire pit outside, as well as a portable double hammock for you to hang where you’d most like to relax.
